The satellite operator HISPASAT and German telecommunications service provider Media Broadcast Satellite han llegado a un acuerdo, con una duraci n inicial de cinco a os, para distribuir en Europa, norte de frica y Oriente Medio (EMEA) TV channel in Ultra High Definition Fun Box UHD, uno de los m s importantes de Europa.
Este canal, perteneciente al proveedor de contenidos SPI International, es un canal tem tico sobre naturaleza, viajes y aventura, arte, m sica, cultura y estilo de vida. Sus contenidos permiten explorar lugares impresionantes, contemplar importantes eventos culturales o ver pel culas en muy alta resoluci n gracias a la tecnolog a UHD, que desvela todos los matices y los detalles de las im genes.
For the transmission channel capabilities are combined telepuerto de Media Broadcast Satellite en Usingen (Alemania) with high power satellite Hispasat 30W-5 (H30W-5), dise ado espec ficamente para la distribuci n de contenidos audiovisuales de alta calidad. Esta plataforma de transmisi n pretende instaurarse como el medio m s eficiente y flexible para que los canales en formato UHD se distribuyan en Europa y el norte de frica gracias a la potente cobertura de los sat lites de HISPASAT en esta regi n.
El canal podr ser recibido en diferentes plataformas de cable-operadores de televisi n en pa ses como Espa a, Portugal, Alemania, B lgica, Pa ses Bajos o Luxemburgo, entre otros.
Hispasat ha apoyado desde el principio el desarrollo e implantaci n de la Ultra Alta Definici n con el fin de ponerla cuanto antes a disposici n de los espectadores de cine y televisi n. Fue el primer operador de sat lites en realizar una transmisi n en UHD en Am rica Latina a trav s de su sat lite Hispasat 30W-3 y, desde septiembre de 2013, emite en abierto en Europa su canal Hispasat 4K, puesto a disposici n de la industria para fomentar el uso de esta tecnolog a.
