Rycote appoints Gerry Forde as Chief Commercial Officer Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK, September 19, 2016:

Rycote, the award winning UK manufacturer of advanced microphone windshields and suspension systems, is delighted to announce the appointment of Gerry Forde as their Chief Commercial Officer. Rycote operates a global distributor network and, building upon a strong platform of established sales and market share, is targeting further national and international growth opportunities.

Gerry joins existing Rycote Board members, Simon Davies (CEO), David Ransome (CFO), Odette Davies (COO) and Paul Whiting (Non Exec), having previously run his own Pro Audio & MI distribution business in Ireland, and more recently holding a series of senior positions at Sennheiser, including Sales & Marketing Director at Sennheiser UK and Business Strategist for the Global Pro Division.

Speaking of the new appointment, Simon Davies said we are very pleased to welcome Gerry to the Rycote team, and his role will include taking overall responsibility for leading the Sales department and dynamically driving sales, in line with our ambitious growth strategy over the coming years. These are exciting times for us, and bringing Gerry in to this senior role reflects our long term growth ambitions. Gerry has extensive knowledge and experience in this industry, and his significant commercial expertise and leadership will enable us to deliver on our business ambitions .
