GoPro Awards Already Granted Just Days After Announcement of Program

When GoPro officially launched GoPro Awards last week, we knew we would see amazing content from our customers. For years, GoPro users have inspired us with their creative perspectives and unique experiences. GoPro was created to enable people to capture their lives in ways never before possible, and how far our customers have taken it is far beyond what any of us ever imagined.

Well, yet again you have blown us away with your inspiring content. In just a few days, GoPro has been flooded with tens of thousands submissions, each telling a story if only of a moment through the lens of a GoPro of what it is to live today.

With so much incredible content already submitted, GoPro could waste no time awarding users for their creative contributions. Below are five submissions already picked to be awarded, along with some initial reactions from the GoPro Entertainment team

What an incredible world we live in! Were just thrilled to catch a glimpse of the awe-inspiring sights our customers experience firsthand! This is such a great use of the 4K Night Lapse mode, and it is just so cool to witness something captured that most of the world never gets to see.

Waterski Spinny | Guillermo Bargu $5K

Great use of the camera! The higher frame rates really let them slow down these shots well, and the creative mounting, great editing, and characters bring so much energy to this piece.
