Pre-Production Supervisor

Be responsible for the supervision and delivery of live 2D and 3D On-Air CG animated graphics for play out to our Sport, Sports Marketing, Promotions, Commercial exposure, News and Current Affairs and viewer participation through SMS, Tickers, Facebook, Twitter interaction, Responsible and insuring all captions, pertinent information, statistics and graphic elements are captured correctly for play out.

Responsible for loading/ingesting of commercial exposure for play out.

Insure all incoming and outgoing feeds are checked switched/patched to the correct destination point.

Insuring connectivity with external providers is connected and operational.

Ability to manage and work cohesively in a team.

Ability to maintain discipline in accordance with Company policies & procedures.

Ability to improve measured productivity as per set/agreed targets.

Ability to ongoing liaise with graphics designers and studios in order to ensure on time

completion of graphics play-out for rehearsals.

Ability to monitor smooth communication between workstations and studio and

immediately ask for technical assistance in case of breakdowns in transmission.

Perform general office duties as prescribed by the department.

Communicate changes or any information to the crew to ensure that they are fully prepared for their shifts.

On-the-job, informal training of team members and junior staff, in order to ensure a competent

Committed to the achievement and maintenance of quality; sets high standards of performance for self and others staff compliment and exchange and sharing of knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12

Minimum of 3 years Television broadcasting experience

Minimum of 3 year supervisory and administrator experience

Minimum of 2year IT software and hardware knowledge.

A self-motivated individual who is committed, hardworking and shows enthusiasm.

Accurate with attention to detail

Willing to work shifts and weekends.

Ability to work with a diversity of people

Creative flair.

Computer literate.

Effective and efficient management operations, resources and people in order to ensure service delivery as per agreed customer requirements and to contribute to a successful production.
