Berklee Alumni Nominated for 2020 Latin Grammys

Ten Berklee alumni have received Latin Grammy nominations for performing, songwriting, production, engineering, and mixing across a variety of categories ranging from Album of the Year to Best Latin Jazz Album. The 21st annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, which takes place on Thursday, November 19, will be held remotely and broadcast on Univision.

Last year we were thrilled when Berklee alumna Nella Rojas [B.M. 15] won the Best New Artist Latin Grammy, said Berklee President Roger H. Brown. We're incredibly excited, once again, to have many talented alumni nominated, and we look forward to seeing who wins this year.

Since the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences founded the awards in 2000, 39 Berklee alumni have received 99 Latin Grammy Awards. The nominees for 2020 include previous Latin Grammy winners Tony Maserati '86, Gustavo Borner '89, and Justin Moshkevich '07.
