After five years of serenading Mzansi with chart-topping tracks, the much-loved Magic Music Sessions concert is back for another year. This year, the afro-soul edition of the event will take place on Saturday 6 August at the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria. The star-studded lineup includes award-winning artists Mafikizolo and Zonke.

MAGIC MUSIC SESSIONS RETURNS Magic Music Sessions was originally scheduled to take place on Friday 5 August and 6 August, but organisers made the decision to move the event to just one evening.

The concert will celebrate half a decade of Magic Music Sessions with a show-stopping production and incredible musicians to match.

The event will be hosted by Sipho Alphi Mkhwanazi, best known for his tummy-tickling social media content. Since becoming a social media sensation, Mkwanazi has hosted several award shows and events.

-- THE STAR-STUDDED LINEUP Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo, made up of Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe, will be headlining the Magic Music Sessions concert. The Emlanjeni hitmakers will be sharing the stage with Zonke, best known for her chart-topping hit, Feelings.

Other artists set to take the stage include Nomfundo Moh, Ayanda Jiya, Langa Mavuso, rappers Big Zulu and Sjava and Lloyiso.

The former Idols SA contestant made headlines in April after serenading guests at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's lavish wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. Lloyiso performed a live rendition of Only Fools Rush In for Beckham and Peltz's first dance as newlyweds.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW The Magic Music Sessions concert will kick off at 15:00 on 6 August at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

Tickets are currently on sale, ranging from R250 to R650 each.
