On December 9th 2015 Broadcast Solutions GmbH will host a special one-day event at its headquarters in Bingen/Germany. As part of the Broadcast Innovation Days series, this special Broadcast Innovation Day in Bingen will be a fantastic occasion to see the largest fleet of OB Vans in production in Europe today plus many more.

The impressive sight in the construction hall at the Broadcast Solutions headquarters is accompanied by an exhibition area incorporating all major brands from the broadcast industry, to show their products and solutions. As part of a 4K/UHD arena, camera manufacturers, monitor producers and additional participating manufacturers can show their approaches to how to process 4K content. As a novelty, the day will see a Broadcast Innovation Day panel discussion, where top-speakers will discuss the latest trends and will look into the future of broadcasting. Titled 4K and IP demystified and moderated by SVG Europe, visitors will have the chance to grab the latest thoughts on emerging technologies from high-professionals of the broadcast industry.

The event in detail

The exhibition area comprises of leading companies and brands of the broadcast industry such as: Aviwest, Axon, BMS, DVS, Ericsson, EVS, Genelec, Grass Valley, Hitachi, Ikegami, Imagine Communications, Lawo, L-S-B, Movicom, ProSat Solutions, Riedel, Robycam, SAM, Sennheiser, Serenity, SH BP, slomo.tv, Sony, Studer and Yamaha.

As part of the exhibition, a 4K/UHD arena will give major camera and display manufacturers the chance to show their approach to handling 4K content. The area will provide professional lighting and motives.

Unique in the broadcast business visitors will have the chance to see the largest fleet of OB Vans in production in Europe at present. Broadcast Solutions will present several large OB Vans in their production hall: a Streamline S8 4K OB Van, a Streamline S12 OB Van, a 16 Cam OB Van, a 30 Cam OB Van, a Hyperflex Study-Car plus several SNGs.

The Broadcast Innovation Days Summit will serve as the main discussion platform. With two panels, visitors will profit from the insight of high-professionals of the industry, sharing their thoughts on 4K and the shift to IP. Moderated by the business platform SVG Europe the event will cover these topics with two streams: Cameras for 4K live production and The radical change - all roads lead to IP!?
