Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs Partners with No Limits Media

The Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs (BIAESN) has recently entered into a partnership with the Boston-based nonprofit No Limits Media, an organization dedicated to helping all people with different abilities through various media initiatives and educational curricula.

Led by Rhoda Bernard, BIAESN provides opportunities for individuals with special needs to learn about, experience, and create in the arts. The institute offers community programs, learning opportunities, and degree programs for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professional development for educators. BIAESN's partners include international, national, and regional organizations dedicated to the arts, education, and individuals with disabilities.

BIAESN is overjoyed to partner and collaborate with No Limits Media, an organization changing the face of disability media through their many projects, said Bernard. As No Limits Media's first arts partner, I know that our joint efforts will bring much-needed attention to the fantastic work being done at Berklee for artists of all ages with special needs.

No Limits Media has collaborated on projects with a variety of institutions including the United Nations, PBS, WGBH Boston, Brown University, Facing History and Ourselves, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Northeastern University, and the Boston Ballet, along with high profile individuals such as Tom Hanks, Ken Burns, and two-time Academy Award-winning producer Geralyn Dreyfous.

We look forward to this exciting partnership between No Limits Media and Berklee, said Larry Rothstein, executive director, cofounder, and chair of No Limits Media. The Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs is an important part of the college, and we can't wait to tell the stories of its students and artists.
