Jon Ruiz Ituarte, Bilbao (Espa a) 1966, ha sido nombrado nuevo Gerente General de Caracol Radio y PRISA Radio en Colombia, ocupando as una posici n clave en el primer grupo radiof nico en espa ol con presencia en doce pa ses (EEUU, Espa a, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, M xico, Panam , Costa Rica, Ecuador, Paraguay, Rep blica Dominicana y Guatemala).

Con m s de 25 a os de experiencia en empresas colombianas y multinacionales, Jon Ruiz es un reconocido profesional en Colombia. Tiene la doble nacionalidad -espa ola y colombiana-.
De 1990 a 1995, Jon Ruiz desempe diversas funciones en marketing y ventas en Unilever Espa a. Tambi n trabaj como director de marketing en Philip Morris Espa a y Portugal, y ocup el cargo de director general de Philip Morris Portugal de 2004 a 2006, convirti ndose posteriormente en presidente de la Junta y CEO de Philip Morris en Colombia.
En el a o 2010 fue nombrado Gerente General de Casa Editorial El Tiempo, y desde 2011 adem s presidente y CEO del mismo grupo. Posteriormente, en mayo 2015, se incorpor como CEO a PharmaCielo.
El nuevo Gerente General de Caracol Radio y PRISA Radio en Colombia es licenciado en Econom a por la Universidad del Pa s Vasco, realiz un programa de gesti n y liderazgo en el IMD Business School de Suiza y en 2003 finaliz un Executive MBA con honores en el Instituto de Empresa.
