Fuze is the latest high-octane heist thriller from acclaimed director David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water, Outlaw King). Following its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film will premiere in UK cinemas as a Sky Original on April 3rd 2026.

Shot on location across London, the film places the capital at the heart of the unfolding action, with stellar lead performances from British greats Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter, Bullet Train) and Theo James (The White Lotus, The Gentlemen). Elevating the all-star cast are standout turns from Sam Worthington (Avatar, Under the Banner of Heaven), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Surface, Loki) and Saffron Hocking (Top Boy)

In this audacious new take on the heist genre, London is thrown into panic by the discovery of an unexploded WW2 bomb on a construction site. As bomb disposal expert Major Will Tranter (Taylor-Johnson) and police chief Zuzana Greenfield (Mbatha-Raw) become entangled in the unfolding crisis, tensions escalate and loyalties blur. Fuze hurtles through a collision of a bomb threat, a precision heist, and a city on edge - where no one is quite who they seem.

Synopsis:

When a World War II bomb is discovered in central London a team of military experts led by Will (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), are sent in to investigate and defuse it. A huge police operation is put into action to evacuate thousands of local residents. Amidst the chaos of the situation a group of men, under the guidance of diamond-expert Karalis (Theo James), are hiding out in a basement within the evacuation zone. With emergency services stretched to the limit and the bomb ready to explode, the group begin an audacious jewel heist under cover of the ultimate distraction.
