Hollywood star Jennifer Coolidge says she got bang for her buck when she signed up to play Stifler's mom in the hit American Pie franchise.

Coolidge says the role not only helped catapult her into stardom, but also into many sexual partners.

Speaking to Variety, Coolidge said: I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie.

Coolidge had appeared in a few movies prior to the inaugural 1999 American Pie movie about a bunch of high school students who want to lose their virginity before the year is finished.

The now 60-year-old played Jeanine Stifler, the mother of one of those students, and she ends up sleeping with one of her son's friends.

Coolidge got to play her character four times for American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion.
