Red Arrow Entertainment to acquire 100% of Sultan Sushi in Belgium and Holland Steven Allcock and Jan Keersmaekers to lead Sultan Sushi as Co-Managing Directors

Founder Johan Tuyaerts departing to pursue new challenges

Munich, February 5th, 2014. Red Arrow Entertainment will acquire 100% of the shares in Sultan Sushi, the Groups Belgium and Holland-based production company. In March 2010, Red Arrow Entertainment acquired a majority interest (51%) in the production company in Belgium. In June 2010, the Red Arrow Entertainment Group expanded Sultan Sushi to the Netherlands. As part of the revised share structure, Sultan Sushi has appointed Steven Allcock and Jan Keersmaekers as Co-Managing Directors. Allcock, who will join the company as of April 1st, was most recently Manager of Business Affairs and Head of Broadcasting at Studio 100 NV in Belgium. Keersmaekers joined Sultan Sushi in 2003 and has since acted as COO. Former CEO and founder, Johan Tuyaerts, will leave the company at the end of February.

In his role at Studio 100, a production company specializing in the creation, production and distribution of childrens and family programs, Allcock was responsible for public affairs, business development, and corporate strategy. Previously, Allcock was employed in various positions at Telenet NV and SBS Belgium NV in Belgium.

Jan Keersmaekers: Johan founded the company in 2003 and successfully used his vast network of industry contacts and experience with factual, travel-documentary and lifestyle TV, to make Sultan Sushi a recognized brand. Over the years, he became known as a language and spelling fanatic - but also for a level of enthusiasm that could revive dead cows and make them jump fences.
