The Broadcasting Complaints Commission (BCCSA) says it will not be entertaining any complaints regarding Moja Love's popular reality TV show Uyajola 9/9, which is hosted by Jub Jub.

BCCSA NOT ENTERTAINING COMPLAINTS' Sowetan reports that the BCCSA has made it clear to viewers and any third parties that complaints regarding the TV show Uyajola 9/9, hosted by rapper Jub Jub will not be entertained.

This is after viewers vowed on social media that they'll be writing to the organisation to have the TV show taken off air after recent episodes.

Audiences got concerned after this past Sunday's after an episode featuring Dominique, who wanted Jub Jub to assist her in exposing her husband Brandon's cheating.

The episode angered viewers after Brandon's mistress was exposed to crew members, when they got caught red-handed, in bed.

The naked pair led to viewers writing to the BCCSA over the violation of their rights, while some fans questioned whether they gave the production consent to being filmed naked'.

MOJA LOVE RESPONDS TO UYAJOLA 9/9' EPISODE Though viewers of the reality TV show vowed to complain Moja Love, the channel that broadcasts Uyajola 9/9, told Sowetan that it has never received any complaints about the controversial show.

The publication adds that viewers understand the premise of the show.

BCCSA's Shouneez Martin told the publication:

In terms of clause 28.4 (dignity & privacy), of the Subscription Code of Conduct, only individuals who have been on the receiving end of such broadcasts have locus standi to complain. Accordingly, we cannot entertain complaints from 3rd parties.

Regarding consent, Moja TV Channels Bokani Moyo responded:

We follow standard industry procedures and processes on all our shows and Ujayola is no exception. We are a channel that prides itself in reflecting what is happening in our communities without fear or favour. Many people are aware that these are the things that are happening in the dark and as a channel, we expose and bring them to light.

About last week's episode, Moyo said:

We always take into consideration the feedback our viewers give us and see the feedback as constructive criticism. This allows us to evaluate where we can continuously improve. We create the content for the viewers so it's important to allow them a platform to express their feelings.
