Du 17 au 28 mai, la cr me de lindustrie du cin ma sest r unie loccasion du 75 me Festival de Cannes. En tant que leader technologique mondial dans le domaine de la cin matographie et du broadcast, ARRI tait pr sent sur la Croisette et dans ses coulisses, notamment gr ce son partenariat de longue date avec la Quinzaine des r alisateurs. Pour la premi re fois, ARRI a quip deux photocalls de luminaires LED. L'annuel ARRI Happy Hour a galement t organis sur la plage de la Quinzaine et ARRI a parrain deux prix CST Cannes. Travaillant au quotidien avec les professionnels de lindustrie, ARRI sest concentr sur l tablissement et le maintien de relations avec les cin astes, les r alisateurs et les directeurs de la photographie.
En 2022, plus de 90 % des films en comp tition officielle ont utilis du mat riel ARRI - y compris le laur at de la Palme dOr Triangle of Sadness ou les laur ats du Prix du Jury EO et Le otto montagne . La grande majorit des longs m trages projet s Cannes ont t tourn s ou clair s avec des cam ras, des optiques ou des lumi res ARRI, non seulement dans la comp tition officielle, mais aussi dans les sections Un certain regard, la Quinzaine des r alisateurs et la Semaine de la critique. Aussi, ARRI Rental a quip un grand nombre des productions participantes.

En 2022, Natasza Chroscicki, directrice g n rale ARRI France & directrice du d veloppement commercial ARRI M diterran e, a rejoint lun des comit s de s lection les plus prestigieux de Cannes. Je suis extr mement honor e et enthousiaste lid e de faire partie du jury de la Cam ra dOr , a d clar Natasza. Pendant le festival, le jury de la Cam ra dOr choisit le meilleur premier long m trage pr sent dans les diff rentes sections. Cette ann e, il a r compens War Pony des r alisatrices Riley Keough et Gina Gammell. Le film a t tourn par le directeur de la photographie David Gallego en lALEXA XT : Cest une histoire incroyable que nous voulions tourner de la mani re la plus naturelle possible. Jai toujours eu le sentiment que l'ALEXA et les optiques Panavision constituent une bonne combinaison qui me permet de ressentir la proximit entre les personnages dans leurs propres espaces , explique David Gallego.

Le premier prix de Cannes, la Palme dOr, a t d cern au r alisateur Ruben stlund pour sa com die noire Triangle of Sadness . Fredrik Wenzel, directeur de la photographie, commente lutilisation du mat riel ARRI pour ce long m trage : Jai choisi de tourner Triangle of Sadness en ALEXA LF car je sais quel point Ruben manipule les images par la suite. Il ny a pratiquement aucune image dans le film final, qui nait t manipul e de quelque mani re que ce soit. Ruben assemble diff rentes prises ou il ajoute un d tail, comme un morceau de tissu suspendu au-dessus dune chaise, ou bien il tend limage et la rend plus large. La liste est infinie.
Le Grand Prix a t attribu conjointement Close (r alisateur : Lukas Dhont, directeur photo : Frank van den Eeden) et Stars at Noon (r alisatrice : Claire Denis, directeur photo : Eric Gautier), tous deux tourn s en ALEXA Mini. Des cam ras ARRI ont galement t utilis es par les laur ats du Prix du Jury EO (r alis par Jerzy Skolimowski, photographie par Michal Dymek) et Le otto montagne de Charlotte Vandermeersch et Felix Van Groeningen. Le directeur de la photographie sur ce projet tait Ruben Impens. Le Grand Prix de la section Un Certain Regard a t d cern Les pires , r alis par Lise Akoka et Romane Gueret et film par le DP Eric Dumont en ALEXA Mini. galement tourn en ALEXA Mini, Joyland du r alisateur Saim Sadiq et du directeur de la photographie Joe Saade a re u le Prix du Jury dUn Certain Regard.
