Berklee's music video series Two Track features student artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Created for Berklee's YouTube channel last September, the series presents new videos every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET throughout the spring semester.
Each recording session revolves around a single theme that is expressed by the artist, either through their track selection or a short storytelling segment recorded as part of the performance. January's theme is resolution, with February focusing on empowerment, and March on equality. These sessions will display the talent of Berklee artists while creating community around common themes, shared experiences, and emotions.
Cinya Khan
On January 5, singer-songwriter Cinya Khan performed her original song Movies and a cover of Allen Stones single Bed I Made from his 2021 album, Apart.
A 20-year-old native of Montclair, New Jersey, Khan began writing songs after her family moved to South Florida when she was 14. During her set, she tells a story of confronting a conflict in a relationship during the pandemic that resulted in personal growth and resolution for both her and a friend. The professional music major uses lyrics and melodies as a means to communicate the things that are hard to say aloud. Khan is currently working on her debut EP.

The Thistle Brothers
The Thistle Brothers (Cameron and Devin) performed Ways to Make You Smile, an original tune cowritten with Jackson Lundy, as well as a cover of Harry Styles's Kiwi on January 12.
Influenced by Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, and Bob Dylan, the Boston-based duo's music blends folk, R&B, and classic rock. They hope that their music not only pleases the ears of their listeners, but also helps make the world a better place. Each song they release is connected to a different charity, with the money earned from each song-through streams, purchases, and donations-sent to its respective charity.

Cavon Brown
Cavon Brown performed Kaz Rodriguezs Shed Away, accompanied by drummer E.J. Mitchell, as well as Justin Timberlake's Let the Groove Get In on January 19.
A percussionist from Baltimore, Maryland, Brown has worked with industry artists both secular and gospel, showcasing his talent for a variety of musical genres. Recently, the drummer has begun taking the time to consider his purpose in life outside of music. During his performance, he shared that his daily goal is to try different things and see what I love, see what I don't like, and try to build myself [and] build the pieces together.

Caitlin Otto
Caitlin Otto wrapped up this month's Two Track schedule on January 26, performing Violon by French composer and pianist Francis Poulenc, and Barbra Streisand's 1963 ballad Cry Me a River.
A student at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Otto is a third-year vocal performance major studying classical music who also aspires to be an R&B/soul artist. With a strong belief in her dreams and in herself, she has worked hard to become a featured singer and background vocalist in Berklee's Beyonc Ensemble.
