Here's which documents are most important to verify your profile for National Lottery games.

Playing LOTTO draws online The National Lottery is available via the official app, but players can also participate in the draw by creating an Ithuba LOTTO profile on their website.

Games like EAZiWIN can only be played online. Other games like the LOTTO and Powerball draws can still be played this way.

If you play the draw with your banking app, documents aren't necessary: ownership of the bank account already verifies your profile on the lottery system.

But for online draws, you need to submit documents before you play.

Which documents do I need for online LOTTO games? According to information on the National Lottery's website, you will need two important documents to verify your online profile:

An Identity Document

Proof of Address

A valid proof of address can be in the form of lease agreements, affidavits, stamped statements from your bank, or a home loan statement.

The documents must be submitted, or you can't verify your profile and play the LOTTO draw.

Why do I need to do this? The National Lottery has to verify each profile to prevent instances of possible fraud.

Before players are allowed to participate in lottery draws, the system has to make sure that the person who wants to play really exists and is a person with an identity.

The National Lottery does this to make sure that your profile stays safe for playing the draw.

Accounts are also protected with a link to your cellphone number, and you will be asked to make a password for your Ithuba account.
