The GaleForce software is an advanced infrastructure provisioning and orchestration framework that provides template-based automated provisioning of bare metal, physical, and virtual resources, spanning across storage, networking, computing, and virtualization technologies. The GaleForce Turnkey Cloud Solution for NetApp is a solution bundle that includes the GaleForce software and new GaleForce resource adapters for the NetApp Data ONTAP and OnCommandTM software interfaces, and support for the NetApp Storage Service Catalog. With these GaleForce resource adapters for NetApp storage products, together with adapters for compute and network resources, and pre-built automation workflows, organizations gain newfound agility and simplicity that allows them to easily define service-level templates for storage services and publish them to the GaleForce self-service catalog. The GaleForce Turnkey Cloud for NetApp therefore provides a ready-made solution for three of NetApps main tenets of the path to a private cloud - Automation, Service Catalog, and Self-Service Enablement.
