HVS-2000 Video Production Switcher
The HVS-2000 offers a software option for 4K 2SI signal support that enables switching with less delay than SQD systems and is very valuable in 4K productions. FOR-A's 4K 3D DVE expansion card for the HVS-2000, allows real-time 3D DVE effects in 4K SQD or 2SI -- producing the world's first 2SI 3D DVE! The HVS-2000 features automatic input/output and 4-bus pair switching in 4K mode, which eliminates difficult 4K system settings and allows for an easy transition to 4K system operation. Offering the capabilities of a 7 M/E system, the HVS-2000 is ideal for a wide array of production environments and is well suited for 4K productions. The switcher offers numerous unique features, including MELite , which allows a traditional AUX bus to transform into a functional Mix Effects with cuts, mix, wipes, keys, and DVE including full preview. MELite is the building block for more powerful, yet easy-to-use features of the HVS-2000, such as upstream and downstream transition effects.
Another unique function of the HVS-2000 is FLEXaKEY , which allows operators to add, move, and multiply key and DVE layers to traditional M/E or MELite resources. The HVS-2000 switcher allows up to 48 inputs/18 outputs or 40 inputs/22 outputs, and offers a 4K DVE expansion card that allows 3D DVEs in 4K mode. The FOR-A unit offers a first of its kind 2SI software option, making it the world's first 2SI 3D DVE capable video switcher. This latest version of the HVS-2000 is particularly useful for users who desire flexibility with their switcher in a feature-packed, cost-efficient unit.
HVS-100 Portable Video Production Switcher
FOR-A will also showcase the HVS-100 Portable Video Switcher with its new software offering more Multiviewer layouts and audio with graphics wipes. Now with 20 Multiviewer layouts instead of the previous eight, the operator has the ability to see many more displays. In addition, the HVS-100 now has the capability of providing audio with its graphics wipes making for a more vibrant production. This switcher also has the ability to accept HVS-100TB2 Thunderbolt 2 I/O expansion cards, allowing users to transfer video content with a single cable through computers and interface with other devices, such as character generators and virtual studios. One cable allows transmission of 4 HD. The HVS-100 also has a built-in Web Server that allows the operator to change settings from a PC or tablet device. A clip memory feature has recently been added to the still store to support elaborate performances such as through the use of CG wipes, while the multiviewer meets a diverse range of monitoring needs.
