4YFN to Co-locate with MWC Barcelona in 2021

28 July 2020, London: The GSMA today announced that it is moving its 4YFN event from Fira Montju c and co-locating it with MWC Barcelona 2021 at Fira Gran Via. Combining these two influential events signals a new era and commitment to working together to fulfil the potential of mobile technology, connecting everyone and everything to a better future.

We believe that 4YFN is a key innovation platform and that start-ups will play a critical role in a global economic recovery, said John Hoffman, CEO, GSMA Ltd. Bringing 4YFN and MWC together means we can add greater value to attendees and exhibitors of both events, to foster more opportunities to interact, learn and network. Bringing ground breaking innovations to key industry leaders.

On the heels of recent virtual successes through the GSMA Thrive 2020 series of events, the GSMA are rethinking the overall approach, design and agenda for this highly anticipated event. This move recognises 4YFN as the key innovation platform for the GSMA. The world is changing at an unprecedented speed, and the entire mobile ecosystem must seize this moment to be a force for change - contributing to a society and planet that we're proud to pass on to future generations. Mobile technology is central to futureproofing our economy, and innovation and start-ups are at the heart of this pursuit.
