The Super Mario Bros. Movie is officially out and in honor of the movie MIX Mornings is making Mario Kart a reality! It's the KBS Kup, presented by Crabtree!
MIX Mornings Kyle, Bryan and Sarah are building teams and competing against each other, racing on adult tricycles while trying to avoid water balloons, powder cannons, silly string, bubbles and more. Yes, it will be fun and ridiculous!
The MIX Mornings Team is truly getting into Mario mode, each ready to declare victory.
After seeing the Mario Bros. Movie and being so inspired by its female ruler, it will be my honor to represent the absolute Queen that is Princess Peach, said the aptly surnamed WRAL-FM's Sarah King. She is so brave, and she makes mincemeat of any obstacle course in her way. I plan on making mincemeat pies of everyone on the course that day as well.
Throwing down the gauntlet, she said, For the glory of the trophy and bragging rights for life! Princess Peach for the win!
Everyone looks up to Mario for a reason, because he always wins and gets it done, said WRAL-FM's Kyle Smelser, returning King's volley. Cute story, Sarah, but you already know who is bringing home the championship Team Mario!
The winner gets bragging rights and will hoist the official KBS Kup. WRAL-FM's Bryan Lord feels good about his odds.
I'm Luigi, declared Lord. But don't look at the L' on my hat as a premonition. In real life, Mario drives a Chrysler Pacifica and Princess Peach believes in participation ribbons. It's clear who will win the man who racked up 2 speeding tickets on a drive to the beach.
