This year, the Tribeca Festival returns to New York City with another stacked lineup of premieres and can't-miss cinematic moments. Running June 3-14, the festival will bring together bold storytellers and cinephiles eager to share and catch the latest in indie film. And among this year's offerings is a strong showing from the Sundance Institute community.
Eleven Sundance Institute-supported projects will screen during this year's festival, including films like the documentary Retrieval, backed by programs spanning the Documentary Film Program, Catalyst, and Artist Accelerator. Other titles are among those that premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, like Take Me Home, recipient of the 2026 Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award: U.S. Dramatic, and short film The Baddest Speechwriter of All, which earned the Short Film Grand Jury Prize.
Plus, don't miss some beloved films from the past. This year's lineup also reaches into the Sundance Institute vault with Bound, the feature film directorial debut of Lana and Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix), and Malcolm Ingram's Small Town Gay Bar, bringing a dose of nostalgia into the mix.
Explore the full list of Sundance Institute-supported titles below and add them to your Tribeca schedule. And for more about the programs mentioned in this list, click here.
