The Festival of Madrid claimed the role of women in cinemaEstos d as el Festival de Cine de Madrid (FCM-PNR) est rindiendo homenaje a la cineasta In s Par s con una retrospectiva de su obra y numerosas personalidades del mundo del cine est n participando en los coloquios y mesas que se han organizado en torno a las proyecciones que hay programadas.
The 27 Festival de Cine de Madrid comenzaba este fin de semana con el Homenaje Nacional a la cineasta In s Par s con el primero de los actos programados. La cita ten a lugar en la Filmoteca Espa ola, Cine Dor , con aforo completo y contaba con la presencia de la actriz Bel n Rueda, la ex-vicepresidenta del gobierno y Presidenta del Consejo de Estado y Asociaci n Mujeres por frica, M Teresa Fern ndez de la Vega, la presidenta de la Plataforma Nuevos Realizadores, PNR, y la presidenta de CIMA, Cristina Andreu, quienes quisieron apoyar a Par s en este merecido reconocimiento a su carrera.
Durante el acto, el FCM-PNR entregaba a la cineasta el galard n, dando as el pistoletazo de salida a una retrospectiva hist rica en la que se recoger n varios trabajos de la directora y guionista, que ha sido siempre fiel defensora del papel de la mujer en el mundo audiovisual. Se han programado proyecciones de varios de sus trabajos en cine y televisi n, en varias de las sedes del Festival, y en torno a los mismos se celebrar n coloquios y mesas redondas, como la que ten a lugar en la Sala 1 de la Filmoteca tras la proyecci n de la pel cula La Noche que mi madre mat a mi padre. Un coloquio, dirigido por la periodista Bego a Pi a, que giraba en torno a la figura de la mujer en el panorama cinematogr fico actual, y en el audiovisual en general, en el que las asistentes hablaron de la realidad a la que se enfrentan muchas mujeres cuando intentan sacar adelante sus proyectos ocupando puestos de responsabilidad en la industria.
Secciones InternacionalesOtro de los platos fuertes del programa del Festival de Cine de Madrid son sus secciones internacionales. Este a o est n presentando 6 largometrajes y 38 cortometrajes, in Nuevos Realizadores Internacionales y adem s tambi n se presentan obras internacionales en secciones como Femmes o Short&Shots. Obras cinematogr ficas llegadas principalmente de Latinoam rica y Europa, y que est n reuniendo en el festival a profesionales del mundo cinematogr fico llegados de diversos lugares.
Quiz las presencias m s destacadas en estos primeros d as de festival hayan sido la de la productora de la pel cula Beyond Dreams, Annika Hellstr m; y la reconocida actriz alemana, Elisa Schlott, protagonista de otra de las cintas favoritas de este a o la alemana Fremde Tochter, pel cula que podr verse de nuevo hoy en los Cines Paz a las 16:00 h.
Cine gratis para todosEste fin de semana tambi n han arrancado secciones ya tradicionales del Festival como Cine Mol n: Cine para ni os y j venes, secci n que contar con el Premio del P blico al Cortometraje m s Mol n, patrocinado por Osito Sanito de Tongil y por Lomography. Tambi n repite la secci n en la que se aglutinan los cortos que se proyectan antes de los largos, un total de 18 obras de animaci n, documental, ficci n y g nero experimental, este a o bajo el nombre Shorts&Shots. Y se suma al programa la secci n Femmes en el a o en que el lema del festival es Yo tambi n ruedo , dedicado a todas la mujeres cineastas. Se han seleccionado un total de 26 cortometrajes y largometrajes, dirigidos por mujeres en la secci n, que ser n presentados por sus propias autoras.
El festival no ha hecho m s que comenzar y en su primer fin de semana, pese al festivo, ha alcanzado la friolera de m s de 1.000 espectadores al d a. Hasta el pr ximo martes 23 de octubre el festival tendr proyecciones diarias, en sesiones matutinas y vespertinas, todos los d as de la semana. La mayor a de las citas ir n acompa adas de encuentros con directores y equipos de las pel culas, y lo m s importante todos los pases son gratuitos.
