AKA Design is delighted to have won an order for ten custom branded edit desks for ITN Productions. Crafted from oak and leather, and featuring white lacquer details, they are destined for installation in ITN s new in-house production area.
ITN Productions is the creative and commercial arm of ITN, producing bespoke content for broadcasters, businesses, brands, rights holders and digital channels. They recently won the International Emmy for the second year running, against very stiff competition, with current affair programme, Dispatches: Escape From ISIS . The ten new AKA Design desks will be installed in a new production area at ITNs Grays Inn Road premises as part of an upgrade to the facility.
The AKA edit desks were designed in conjunction with Olly Strous, ITNs Head of Post Production. We worked closely with Olly to integrate some feature requests, including the ITN logo together with an integrated quiet rack for the CPU, explains Guy Wilson, AKA Designs Managing Director. The desks fit perfectly with their technology, and will provide ITN Productions with a very stylish, creative area in which to work.
