Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK, September 1, 2016: PlayBox Technology announces a major expansion to its global partner network with four key new appointments within the EMEA region: Digital & Media Solutions, Studiotech, WTS Broadcast and VIDI GmbH.
These appointments are in line with our strategy of working with the worlds most experienced and reputable system integrators, says PlayBox Technology President Don Ash. With partners of this calibre we can maintain our lead in making the best and most widely used broadcast playout products. Each company within the network is free to operate in any territory rather than being restricted in its business zones. They will be handling our complete Neo family as well as the recently introduced software-as-a-service CloudAir, allowing us to concentrate on our core business of product development.
PlayBox Technology spearheaded the shift from costly and inflexible hardware to efficient and user-friendly software running on standard IT platforms. Our unsurpassed success in the global market is based on having the best products plus the provision of local support and training in our customers own language, not just during the initial install but for the lifetime of the system. It is a proven formula and one which we continue to refine.
PlayBox Technology continues to grow in strength, adds PlayBox Technology CEO Pavlin Rahnev. We offer unique products and maintain these at state-of-the-art level. Customers with software-update licences are able to derive maximum benefit from each refinement as it is introduced, notably the recent upgrades in the AirBox Neo product series. It is a winning formula. At IBC this year we will be celebrating over 16,500 TV and branding channels installations achieved with our SI partners around the world.
Based in Oud Gastel, Digital & Media Solutions (http://denms.nl) operates from headquarters near Amsterdam with additional offices in Hilversum and Belgium.
Studiotech (www.studiotech.be), based in Brussels, is a globally active group with an active presence in Europe and Africa.
WTS Broadcast (www.wtsbroadcast.com) operates from headquarters in Essex (Epping) plus offices in Leeds, Lagos, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Miami and Paris.
VIDI GmbH (www.vidi.eu) based in Darmstadt, covers the DACH markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The company provides a wide range of broadcast related skills including broadcast system integration and product design.
Available exclusively from PlayBox Technology and its regional partners, the PlayBox Neo suite is based around the AirBox Neo playout server. Designed for 24/7 unattended operation, AirBox Neo also be operated manually - including the ability to handle live-to-air throughput. UHD, HD and SD are supported in a single server.
CaptureBox Neo allows HD or SD content to be captured from up to four video sources simultaneously. These can be monitored on a single screen and controlled via a streamlined user interface with enhanced multichannel control and operability.
Multi Playout Manager (MPM) Neo is a networked workflow solution created for multi-channel playout centres to monitor and control all channels locally and assign full or restricted user rights for any of the TV channels to one or more people to remotely monitor, control and view the TV channels from PC or Mobile Device.
SafeBox Neo replicates remote content to local playout server folders for safe transmission. It implements a new graphic interface plus new significantly faster processing for moving primary or copied content to the playout and central storage servers. A new workflow routine protects content against unauthorised deletion.
TitleBox Neo provides a wide range of interactive on-air graphics and titling capabilities which can be manipulated live. It includes substantial improvements for dealing with UHD projects as well as supporting HD and SD operation.
