Guggenheim Securities Hires Carl Mayer to Expand Leveraged Finance Busine

NEW YORK Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Carl Mayer has joined as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Mayer will focus on the origination, structuring, and distribution of leveraged loans and high yield bonds. With over 20 years of experience in leveraged finance, Mr. Mayer joins Guggenheim from Nomura, where he previously served as head of both Acquisition & Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors Group in the Americas. Prior to Nomura, he was a Managing Director and Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch. Before joining the team at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Mayer was a Managing Director in High Yield Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank.
