Entertainment Industry Tax Seminar

In a effort bring additional resources to freelancers in the entertainment community, the Los Angeles Post Production Group will be hosting an Entertainment Industry Tax Seminar on Saturday, February 22nd at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, CA from 10-am - 12pm.

Last year while hosting a short tax presentation at one the group's regular monthly meetings, there was an extremely positive response to the 45 minutes presentation given by one of the tax agents of Robert Hall & Associates. The line was out the door of people waiting to ask the presenter questions, that night. We realized what a strong need there is for information in our industry where so many of us are freelancers, explains Woody Woodhall, Founder of the Los Angeles Post Production Group.

To that end, the Los Angeles Post Production Group is bringing in Enrolled Agent Tony Watson of Robert Hall & Associates for a full 2-hour seminar and a major part of the morning will be spent making sure attendees have the opportunity to have their questions answered.

This event is part of the recent platform the Los Angeles Post Production Group has been working on to bring their members and the community additional networking, education and career enhancement opportunities under the banner LAPPG Presents. This event is open to the entire entertainment industry community and for only $15 people can come and learn how to maximize their deductions, how to handle home offices and studios and what the most flagged forms are by the IRS.
