Panavision and Ludwig Kamera to Showcase Optics at Cinec

Panavision, the entertainment industry's leading designer and manufacturer of high-precision optics and camera systems, will join Ludwig Kameraverleih at Cinec in Munich, Germany, from Sept. 17-19, to showcase their latest offerings. A wide selection of Panavision's world-class lenses, which are available to filmmakers in the region through Ludwig Kameraverleih, will be on display.

Panavision is pleased to join our partner Ludwig Kameraverleih at Cinec this year, said Jeff Allen, Panavision's managing director for Europe. The show provides us with a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear from filmmakers, and to demonstrate our world-renowned optics and productions tools.

Panavision will be showcasing their latest large format lenses, including the Primo 70, Ultra Panavision 70, Sphero 65, System 65 and Super Panavision 70. Attendees also can get a close up look at Panavision's latest addition to their anamorphic portfolio, the T Series. The T Series lenses are tuned to be compatible with digital sensors without losing any of the imaging characteristics that have become part of the anamorphic grammar. The company's selection of other popular anamorphic and spherical lenses also will be shown.

Cinec gives us a chance to fully display the vast breadth of equipment now available to filmmakers throughout Germany, says Martin Ludwig, founder and CEO of Ludwig Kameraverleih.
