Panasonic Grooming has unveiled football legend Rio Ferdinand as the new ambassador for its upcoming #PlayWithStyle campaign.
With a recent study revealing that four out of five men (81%)[1] said looking great before an important event helped to improve their confidence, the style-savvy former Manchester United and England star has been recruited to show men the importance of playing with style, both on and off the pitch.
Compelling #PlayWithStyle video content will form hero content for an exciting new YouTube channel, launching April 19th.
The first piece of content is The Beautiful Game', with Rio and friends showing how they #PlayWith Style. This will be followed by further film and organic content featuring Rio and Andrew Henderson, the freestyle football world champion, showing off some amazing tekkers, and up close and personal videos of Rio discussing his own style lessons.
Throughout the year, the channel will also feature a range of lifestyle content and tutorials from influencers to showcase grooming tips and tricks, both in the home and on the go.
Ferdinand says: Style has always been important to me and I've been known to experiment with clothing, hair and beard styles over the years. I've always applied the same mantra of Look and feel good, play good'. Now, as I'm trying to juggle managing my style with being a busy father and professional, Panasonic's grooming products have become a kitbag essential. This is why I'm delighted to be fronting the #PlayWithStyle campaign.'
