KHOSI THWALA: EVERYONE WANTS TO BE ON BIG BROTHER' The former beauty pageant Khosi Thwala, who walked away with $100 000 (R1.7 million) at the Big Brother Titans finale on Sunday, 2 April tells Drum that she was just shooting her shot when she entered the reality TV show.

It still feels so unreal, I think it's going to take some time for me to get to a place where I'm like I did that'.

I think everyone wants to be on Big Brother, so it started like that and then you just audition, just to shoot your shot but when it actually came into fruition, I was like oh, this might actually be a thing'.

Thwala adds that she felt she needed to take up a certain character when she entered the house but that was short-lived and later decided to just be herself, which is what her fans fell in love with.

I learned how to make silent moves and still stay loud on the outside, that's why they never saw me coming.

It's time for me to focus on my charity and I think there's no perfect time than now because I am here because of people, people voted for me to be here, and I've always wanted to give back.

She adds that her primary focus after getting this money is to see how she can make a difference.

Thwala adds that all the housemates wanted her to leave but her fans gave her confidence by voting for her to stay in the house.

I gained some confidence. More than anything, I wanted to prove to the housemates that my fate is not in their hands.
