Talented actor, Vuyo Dabula, who's popularly known for his role as Kumkani Gadaffi' Phakade, on Mzansi's second most-watched soapie, Generations: The Legacy, has left the soapie again.

--

This is Dabula's second resignation from the soapie as he reportedly also resigned from the show earlier this year (February) for Queen Sono.

WHY DABULA LEFT GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY' AGAIN The actor allegedly left the show the first time around after producers gave him an ultimatum to choose Generations: The Legacy over Queen Sono season two.

--

The actor played the role of Shandu on the Netflix series and was shooting season two when it got canned.

Sources from the show informed True Love Magazine that the actor has left the country's second-biggest show for good this time.

He has left the show for good this time - after a lot of back and forth. He has been with the show since 2014 and now he's gone.

This time, he's definitely gone for good because he hasn't been in the studio for a while.

His character has been scraped off, which means that he won't feature in season 31 of the show.

The insider added that contractual negotiations for the star to remain on the show fell flat.

--

There were negotiations between Vuyo and the show's producers, but things didn't work out.

This means that the show's avid viewers won't see him on screen anymore.

The show's publicist, Nandipha Pantsi, also confirmed his exit from the soapie to the publication.

It's true that Vuyo is no longer a part of the show and he will be greatly missed.

I can confirm that there are two new additions to the show that viewers can look forward to.

HAS YONDA THOMAS REPLACED VUYO DABULA? The show confirmed this morning (1 December) that seasoned actor, Yonda Thomas, who just joined the show as Lelethu, is Detective Pele's (Andile Nebulane) younger brother.

TVSA stated that Thomas is also a starring role and he'll be with the show for a while.

Lelethu's a reporter who like Gaddafi is a charming and sexy man who treats women well.

Imbewu: The Seed actor, Muzi Mthabela, who played the role of Menzi, on the e.tv telenovela has also joined Generations: The Legacy.
