Other highlights include SportsNet Central being honored for the 15th time.

The Comcast Network picked up a nomination for the Breakfast on Broad Campaign Launch, while CSNPhilly.com received a nomination in the Sports Program Interview Discussion category. This is the first time a show airing on CSNPhilly.com has been nominated for an Emmy.

Comcast SportsNet's nominations once again include SportsNet Central for Outstanding Sports Daily or Weekly Program, which captured the honor last year. Comcast SportsNet also received nominations for Philadelphia Flyers game coverage in the Outstanding Live Sports Coverage/Series category. In addition, the network was recognized with nominations for various sports programming and promotional campaigns, as well as seven nominations in individual achievement. Comcast SportsNet's signature charity event, The Shining Star Awards benefitting the March of Dimes, was also nominated for an Emmy in the community service category.

Our networks continue to lead the way in producing outstanding game broadcast, sports news, talk and analysis , says Brian Monihan, Comcast SportsNet President and General Manager. I thank NATAS for honoring the passion and pride that our employees exhibit in their work as we continue to provide our viewers with award-winning programming each and every day.

The Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards, which annually honor excellence in news, programming and individual achievement in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, will be presented Saturday, September 19 at the Philadelphia Hilton.
