SRT Open Source Video Streaming Project Continues Momentum at IBC 2018 with Ateme, Pebble Beach Systems, and Hive Streaming Joining the SRT Alliance

The fastest growing open source video streaming movement continues in its mission to make SRT the de facto standard for low latency video streaming

Montreal, Canada - September 6, 2018 - The SRT Alliance, supporting the SRT Open Source Project, announces that Ateme, Pebble Beach Systems, and Hive Streaming have joined the SRT Alliance to show their support of the cross industry adoption of the SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) Open Source protocol and technology, bringing the total number of SRT Alliance members to more than 140 companies.

SRT, developed and pioneered by Haivision, optimizes streaming performance across unpredictable networks with low latency secure streams. SRT, royalty free and available on GitHub, is the fastest growing open source video streaming movement. In addition to its more than 140 alliance members, SRT is also supported by VideoLAN's VLC, Wireshark, FFmpeg, and the GStreamer open source projects.
