Erste internationale Koproduktion: TNT Serie und HBO Europe produzieren Cybercrime-Drama Hackerville Friday, February 16, 2018

M nchen/Bukarest, 16. Februar 2018 - Turner Deutschland geht erstmals eine Koproduktion mit internationalen Partnern ein: Das von TNT Serie und HBO Europe koproduzierte Hackerville folgt in sechs Episoden einem Netzwerk von Hackern und den Polizisten, die gegen sie ermitteln. Bereits f r die Serie verpflichtet wurden Ronald Zehrfeld (4 Blocks, Im Angesicht des Verbrechens), Anna Schumacher (Die Reise mit Vater) und Sabin Tambrea (Ludwig II., Berlin Station), weitere Darsteller werden in den n chsten Wochen bekannt gegeben.
Entwickelt von J rg Winger und Ralph Martin (beide Deutschland 83/86) wird Hackerville von Cristian Mungiu und Tudor Reu von Mobra Film (4 Monate, 3 Wochen und 2 Tage) produziert. Als Executive Producer fungieren unter anderem Johnathan Young (Wataha) von HBO Europe, J rg Winger von UFA Fiction sowie Anke Greifeneder von TNT Serie, Alina David und Silvia Popescu sind Producer von HBO Europe. Die B cher stammen von Lauren iu Rusescu (Good Guys), Daniel Sandu (One Step Behind the Seraphim), Ralph Martin (Deutschland 83) and Steve Bailie (Deutschland 83), Regie werden Igor Cobileanski (Umbre) und Anca Miruna Lazarescu (Die Reise mit Vater) f hren.
Als das Bundeskriminalamt einen Hackerangriff auf eine Gro bank nach Timi oara verfolgen kann, entsendet es die Spezialistin f r Internetkriminalit t Lisa Metz in die rum nische Stadt, in der auch ihre Wurzeln liegen. Vor Ort soll sie mit dem Polizisten Adam Sandor und dessen Team zusammenarbeiten, doch der sieht seine eigenen Ermittlungen durch Lisas Ankunft gef hrdet. Zudem wird die Beamtin dort nicht nur mit dem Chaos des modernen Rum nien konfrontiert, sondern auch mit ihrer eigenen Familiengeschichte. Als Lisa und Sandor jedoch auf den Ausnahmeprogrammierer Dark Mole treffen, entwickelt sich aus anf nglichem Misstrauen bald eine gegenseitige Abh ngigkeit zwischen den dreien.
Hackerville wird ab Fr hling 2018 in Timi oara, Bukarest und Frankfurt gedreht und soll im Herbst Premiere feiern. W hrend die Serie in Mittelosteuropa, Skandinavien und Spanien bei HBO Europe zu sehen sein wird, wird die deutschsprachige Erstausstrahlung auf TNT Serie stattfinden. Zudem bernimmt Turner den Vertrieb der internationalen Rechte au erhalb des Ausstrahlungsgebiets von HBO Europe sowie der USA.
