BT TV customers continue to enjoy channels such as Dave, Gold, W, Alibi, Good Food and Eden
Includes an enhanced catch-up video-on-demand (VoD) service for BT TV customers
Move forms part of BTs ambition to give customers the widest choice of content through partnerships with the best content providers
BT today announced a new long-term deal with UKTV that will include an enhanced catch-up video-on-demand (VoD) offering for BT TV customers.
UKTV, the biggest multichannel broadcaster in Britain, has been a BT TV partner since launch and this new deal means BT TV customers will continue to get some of the UKs best loved comedy on Gold, brand new and exclusive entertainment on Dave, as well as premium programming on W, Alibi, Good Food and Eden.
The move, following the recent launch of Amazon Prime Video on BT TV, forms part of BTs ambition to offer TV customers the widest choice of content through partnerships with the best content providers.
UKTVs 10 channel network is home to a raft of award-winning UKTV Original series, exciting premiere acquisitions and the very best of the archive from BBC, ITV, C4 and more. With new series and hugely popular shows such as Harrow, Taskmaster, Dads Army, Judge Romesh, Red Dwarf, Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, Women on The Verge, Quantico and Carter, BT TV customers will have an exciting choice of UKTVs exclusive content to watch live or on demand.
Customers will also soon be able to receive a bigger selection of shows on VoD with customers able to watch these in high definition (HD) via their BT TV set-top boxes for the first time. A selection of shows will also be available to download and play on the new BT TV app that now gives customers the ability to download and access content on the go as well as access to a range of TV platforms.
