Turner Sport, una de las principales cadenas deportivas en Estados Unidos, ha desplegado codificadores de video HE4000 UHD / Mulit-HD of Aviwest para transmitir en vivo la Ryder Cup 2018.
Para transmitir en directo esta competici n de golf, Turner Sport buscaba un medio para transportar 16 se ales de video desde Par s a Atlanta and 4 se ales de retorno desde Atlanta a Par s a trav s de Internet p blica. En colaboraci n con el Master Distribuidor de Aviwest en Estados Unidos, VidOvation, Turner Sports cont con una soluci n basada en la tecnolog a SafeStreams.
Los ingenieros y operadores broadcast siempre est n buscando formas mejores y m s eficientes de contribuir y distribuir v deo. Esto es especialmente cierto en el caso de las emisoras de deportes y los productores de televisi n en directo, que se ocupan regularmente del backhauling de v deo y audio en directo, de alta acci n, multic mara y multifuente. El reto es mantener una perfecta sincronizaci n de v deo y labiales a trav s de m ltiples c maras, algo que consiguen los sistemas Aviwest.
En el caso de Turner Sport, el despliegue consisti en cinco HE4000 (codificadores HEVC de 4 canales HD o UHD de un canal) con receptores, decodificadores y transcodificadores StreamHub compatibles. Para ahorrar costes, Turner Sports utiliz una conexi n p blica a Internet no gestionada de 1 Gb por segundo.
El HE4000 es ideal para la entrega en tiempo real de contenido 4K UHD o HD en vivo a trav s de redes IP no gestionadas. El codificador compacto de media combina la codificaci n HEVC de 10 bits y 4:2:2:2 con la ltima generaci n de tecnolog a SafeStreams para ofrecer v deo en directo sobre IP a bajas latencias y velocidades de bits.
Por su parte, HEVC mejorado de Aviwest puede ahorrar a los clientes m s del 65% en sus costos de datos cuando se usa sobre la tecnolog a celular enlazada en comparaci n con la t pica H.264.
La tecnolog a SafeStreams proporciona as un transporte robusto y fiable a trav s de la impredecible Internet p blica.
Una alternativa mucho menos costosa que las conexiones tradicionales de telecomunicaciones o sat lite, el HE4000 env a v deo a trav s de la Internet p blica o de redes no gestionadas, que son pr cticamente gratuitas. La capacidad celular de enlace se puede a adir a la HE4000 utilizando la antena activa opcional QUAD CellLink.
