The launch of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story might have attracted a certain percentage of attention on social media but etv's combined launch of their newest shows Nikiwe and Smoke & Mirrors also gained large interest.

More info about etv's newest shows The two shows are set to replace etv's long-standing shows on the channel, the shows being Durban Gen and Imbewu: The Seed respectively. The need for new content is becoming clearer even on the streaming platforms. The new shows have each released explosive trailers that promise that they will deliver all the drama that is renowned for each of the timeslots.

The launch was attended by the noted stars of each show such as Zolisa Xaluva (Smoke & Mirrors), Lungelo Mpangase (Nikiwe) amongst others.

Nikiwe's leading lady and the former The Wife actress got tongues wagging in a saucy pink number. In the new telenovela she plays the title role of Nikiwe.

The noted actor famous for often playing the bad boy' characters was also in attendance at the premiere.

4. Zintle Mabena

The saucy actress who has a coveted role in Smoke & Mirrors looked elegant in black with a touch of sex appeal. The actress according to The Citizen made her return to the limelight through her role on the show after a divorce and the end of Isibaya in 2021.
