
ELEAGUE and U.S. Air Force Expand Marketing Partnership Thursday, July 19, 2018

July 19, 2018 -- ELEAGUE, the premium esports content and live tournament brand from Turner and IMG, and the U.S. Air Force today announced an expanded multi-tournament marketing partnership in time for the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018. The Air Force will serve as ELEAGUE's first-ever official armed forces partner across all platforms.
Given the highly engaged and young audiences that ELEAGUE attracts, the Air Force will activate across a number of branded integrations and placements, highlighting the strategy and skillset recruits take on as part of the Air Force.
ELEAGUE goes to great lengths to bring on partners that have a natural connection to our fans and that understand that the esports community highly values authentic voices, said Seth Ladetsky, senior vice president of sales for Turner Sports. The Air Force gets it and is a perfect fit; we are excited to be working with them in a deeper way and providing them a platform to articulate how they support the men and women of our country in their time of service.
As with all of ELEAGUE's partnerships, this arrangement encompasses a number of branded integrations that will provide a unique, authentic voice for the brand within the ELEAGUE content, including commercial inventory across television, Twitch and ELEAGUE digital channels, integration with ELEAGUE's AdTracker chyron, social, and branded content, as well as on-site activations at ELEAGUE events.
Unique to this partnership, the Air Force and ELEAGUE will collaborate on:
ELEAGUE at the Base : ELEAGUE and the Air Force will capture custom video content at various Air Force bases around the country to present the breadth and scope of the Air Force operations and provide a look at what it takes to be a part of the force.
Tactics Presented by Air Force: During each day of play, ELEAGUE will create new content that will give fans an inside look at the tactics used within ELEAGUE competition. It may be a look at an incredible play by a competitor, how a team sets up a round, or a look at the kind of loadout a player may head into battle with - providing the fan a deeper view of the action.
CS:GO Premier 2018 Championship Trophy presented by Air Force: The winner of the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 tournament will be awarded with the championship trophy. The moment will include Air Force branding, and highlights and clips will be distributed across social through Turner's Launchpad social distribution tool.
ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 live tournament coverage will begin Saturday, July 21, at 2 p.m. ET on the ELEAGUETV Twitch channel, and will also be available free of charge on B/R Live. In addition, live coverage will be available through ELEAGUE's award-winning Game Command mosaic video player, which gives viewers access to thousands of different in-game viewing angles. A multi-part feature series revisiting the tournament's best moments will be presented beginning Friday, Aug. 24, on TBS.
Entering its third year, ELEAGUE has experienced incredible momentum across the board and a record number of advertising and marketing partners are collaborating with the brand for this upcoming season. ELEAGUE official marketing partners include Alienware/Dell, Boost Mobile, Cheez-It, GEICO, HyperX, The Kraken Rum, among others.
