News of the Regions: Grodno branch of RUE Beltelecom continues replacement of copper cable with fiber optic 21.09.2016

Modernization of communication networks and transfer of subscribers to GPON technology continues in Volkovysk. Currently, work on replacement of copper cable with fiber-optic is carried out at the following streets:

Sovetskaya Str. 3, 5, 7, 9, 11;

K. Marx Str. 3, 5;

Zholudev Str. 78, 79, 81, 87A, 91A, 135, 149, 167, 169, 171;

Zenitchikov Str. 46, 48, 50;

Rokossovsky Str. 72;

Vostochnaya Str. 59, 61, 63, 65, 65A, 67, 67A, 69, 71, 73, 79;

ZootekhnicheskayaStr. 5, 7, 7A.

Ros village, Volkovysk district: 8 March Str. 2, 4.

Modernization of communication networks is being actively carried out in Lida. Currently, work is carried out at the following addresses:

FrunzeStr. 1, 2, 14, 16, 18, 10/1, 12/1;

Mitskevich Str. 25;

Sovetskaya Str. 36, 38, 42, 44.

GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology is considered to be one of the most innovative designs and gives the opportunity to provide several services via one thin cable which is important as far as home interior is not damaged. Optic via GPON technology ensures high data transmission speed more than 100 Mbps, it is not influenced by external electrical interference, and does not cause it, providing more stable connection.

Among the offers of fiber optic connection are the service packages under the new brand JASNA , which combines already traditional services of Beltelecom telephone connection, byfly Internet and ZALA television. Note that for the first time in Belarus unlimited phone calls within Beltelecom network are already included in the packages.
