VSN y el proveedor de soluciones de almacenamiento y librer as LTO Disk Archive Corporation (DAC) han anunciado la integraci n de sus servicios, permitiendo as que las soluciones de gesti n de Media de VSN puedan ser implementadas con un sistema de almacenamiento mejorado de alta seguridad. Gracias a esta nueva integraci n, los clientes de VSN podr n tener a su disposici n todos sus contenidos en la Red a trav s de una plataforma flexible, de r pido acceso y escalable, que crece seg n las necesidades de los usuarios en cada momento.
Algunas caracter sticas t cnicas de los sistemas DAC que han sido positivamente valoradas por VSN a la hora de llevar a cabo esta integraci n han sido el almacenamiento de alta densidad con 48 ranuras de disco hasta 350 TB (Raw), la arquitectura avanzada Maid-III con control de disco independiente para el ahorro de energ a, la conectividad Plug&Play f cil de integrar o el bajo costo de expansi n del almacenamiento, con 60 ranuras de disco adicionales por sistema. Desde la opci n m nima de 6 TB, los usuarios podr n expandir su capacidad de almacenamiento en una base buy-as-you-go hasta alcanzar los 1,7 PB para una configuraci n est ndar de rack. Todo ello, adem s, con una baja inversi n inicial y sin tiempo de inactividad para el almacenamiento rutinario.
Adem s, los almacenamientos de DAC desarrollados sobre una robusta plataforma en un sistema operativo Linux de 64 Bit ofrecen a los usuarios una soluci n de archivo de alta seguridad con discos intercambiables en caliente, fuentes de alimentaci n, sistemas de monitorizaci n, alarmas y opciones adicionales de r plica, garantizando as que todo aquel contenido vulnerable que deseen proteger est correctamente asegurado ante eventuales p rdidas.
