Adam Reed named CEO of Thinkfactory Media
Leslie Greif cements legacy of company he founded 26 years ago, prepares to launch new venture.
LOS ANGELES - (Oct. 2, 2018) - Venerate producer and longtime executive Adam Reed has been named chief executive officer of Thinkfactory Media, it was announced today by ITV America CEO David George. The move comes on the heels of the completion of UK-based ITV PLC's acquisition of Thinkfactory Media, launched in 2011 by lauded writer-producer-director Leslie Greif (Greif sold a 65% stake in Thinkfactory to ITV in 2013).
Greif, who founded what was originally The Greif Company in 1992, is known for his deep bench of television series - from CBS's long-running Walker, Texas Ranger starring Chuck Norris, and History's multiple, Emmy-winning miniseries Hatfields & McCoys starring Kevin Costner, and Texas Rising starring Bill Paxton, to CMT's period drama Sun Records - including myriad scripted and unscripted hits, documentaries and feature films. He is preparing to launch a new entertainment venture and will release details shortly.
A 14-year veteran of the company, Reed was named president of Thinkfactory Media in 2016 by then-CEO Greif. Overseeing all aspects of production, creative and business development for the prolific prodco, Reed helped grow the company into a primary network supplier of unique content. Notable Thinkfactory shows include WE tv's ratings record-breaking Mama June: From Not to Hot, the long-running Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars (coming off its 11th season), and Million Dollar Matchmaker; A&E's Gene Simmons Family Jewels (which Greif and Reed created with Gene Simmons); TV One's franchise R&B Divas; and Lifetime's biopic Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge and Michel'le, as well as the network's newest series My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera, which will premiere in early 2019. Over the course of their tenure, Greif and Reed have produced content in nearly every genre of television.

Adam Reed Bio
Adam Reed began collaborating with Leslie Greif in 2004, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production and creative development for Thinkfactory Media. He co-created and executive-produced series such as Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and 11 seasons of hit franchise Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, including spinoffs Mama June: From Hot to Not and Family Boot Camp. Other EP credits include R&B Divas and spinoff R&B Divas: Los Angeles (TV One); Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le (Lifetime), Million Dollar Matchmaker (WE tv), Married by Mom & Dad (TLC), Preachers' Daughters (Lifetime), 4th and Loud (AMC), Big Giant Swords (Discovery), and Teach: Tony Danza (A&E). Prior to joining Thinkfactory, Reed created and directed the largest campaign in the history of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, and was shortlisted at the Cannes International Advertising Festival for a spot he directed for the Philadelphia Phillies. He also has authored two children's books: Bee in the Sea, which was awarded three first-place Royal Dragonfly Awards, including Best New Author, and named the 2016 Finalist in Next Gen's Indie Book Awards, and Reindeer In Here, a multiple award-winning, book and plush Christmas tradition set.

Leslie Greif is a multi-Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated producer, creator, writer and director responsible for hundreds of hours of entertainment airing across nearly every television network. The founder of Thinkfactory Media, his projects have earned five Emmy awards and a Golden Globe, as well as a Guinness World Record. Greif's scripted credits include Hatfields & McCoys and Texas Rising (History); Sun Records (CMT); thriller The Dating Game Killer (ID); the Gracie award-winning urban biopic Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le (Lifetime); and the iconic, long-running CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger; as well as independent films Keys to Tulsa; Funny Money; Meet Wally Sparks; Heaven's Prisoners; and 10 Rules for Sleeping Around. His unscripted credits include Mama June: From Not to Hot and Marriage Boot Camp (WE tv); Gene Simmons Family Jewels (A&E); R&B Divas and Hollywood Divas (TV One); Married by Mom and Dad (TLC); Preachers' Daughters (Lifetime); and many others.
