NAB 2026 Preview, Central Hall: Everything You Need To Know Heading Into the Show

The NAB Show kicks off on Saturday, and the SVG and SVG Europe editorial teams are preparing to bring you the hottest stories from all over the Las Vegas Convention Center. Until then, here's a preview of the offerings that exhibitors are most proud of.

Today's edition covers exhibitors in the Central Hall: Advanced Image Robotics (AIR), Audio-Technica, B&H - The Studio,BeckTV, Belden, Boland Communications, Bolin Technology, Bridge Technologies (2110 Solutions), Broadfield, Calrec Audio, Canare Corp. of America, Canon USA, Cartoni, Clark Wire & Cable, Clear-Com, Dante by Audinate, Devlin Design Group, Disguise, FOR-A, Fujinon/Fujifilm, Grass Valley, Ikegami, intoPIX, iodyne, IPC, Joseph Electronics, Kokusai Denki, Lawo,Leader Instruments, manifold technologies, Markertek,Meinberg Funkuhren, Mo-Sys, MRMC, MultiDyne, MyCaseBuilder, Nemal Electronics, Netgear, Nova Lume, Panasonic, Pinnacle, Program Productions, Q5X, RED Digital Cinema, Riedel Communications, RTS Intercom Systems, Sennheiser, Shure, Solid State Logic, Sony Electronics, Telos Alliance, Teradek, Vinten/Videndum Production Imaging, Wave Central, and Wisycom.

Advanced Image Robotics (AIR) (Booth C4212)

AIR is demonstrating AIR AutoPilot, an AI-powered autotracking system for robotic cameras in live sports production. AutoPilot offers both game-follow and ISO-follow tracking with physical pan-tilt and optical zoom, built on a proprietary Visual Language Model running at the edge and in the cloud.

The booth will feature autotracking footage from live events shot over the past year across basketball, tennis, soccer, and other sports, alongside demonstrations of how AIR cameras integrate into existing REMI workflows.

AIRcloud, AIR's IP-based remote fleet-management platform, allows production teams to monitor and manage cameras across multiple venues from a single dashboard.

Audio-Technica (Booth C6316)

Audio-Technica is introducing four microphones.

The ATV-SG1 and ATV-SG1LE are on-camera shotgun microphones designed for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The ATV-SG1 features dual-channel output with a matrix switch offering three configurations: duplicate left/right channels, a primary track with a -6dB safety track, or a primary microphone channel paired with a wireless-lavalier feed. The ATV-SG1LE is a streamlined version without the safety track and lavalier channel options. Both are designed and manufactured in Japan.

The BP350ST-UB and BP350ST-UL compact stereo microphones use MS mid-side capsule arrangements with switch-selectable internal matrixing. The BP350ST-UB is an off-camera model mountable via a low-profile boundary housing or 5-in. gooseneck, featuring independent cardioid and figure-of-eight elements. The BP350ST-UL is a 16cm on-camera shotgun designed for ENG applications, rejecting off-axis noise while capturing stereo sound. Both models feature an AT8547 power module with selectable stereo or discrete mid-side output.

B&H - The Studio (Booth C8116)

The Studio B&H is operating two dedicated virtual-production stages, demonstrating integrated workflows combining LED display systems, camera tracking, media servers, lighting, switching, and production-control infrastructure across both cinema and broadcast applications.

Panel discussions will cover 3D Gaussian splatting, immersive technologies, AI toolsets, and emerging virtual production workflows.

The booth is designed to demonstrate complete workflow integration across acquisition, display, lighting, tracking, playback, routing, monitoring, and live-production control, reflecting the convergence of film, television, live production, and immersive media.

BeckTV (Booth C3835)

BeckTV is launching BeckFlow, a web-based schematic documentation platform built for the media- and entertainment-technology industry. BeckFlow generates broadcast-facility drawings automatically from structured engineering data - such as wire and equipment lists - reducing manual drafting time and keeping facility drawings synchronized with system designs without traditional CAD workflows.

The platform ingests standardized BeckTV data templates and produces schematic diagrams and is being demonstrated publicly for the first time.

BeckTV is also highlighting installations completed over the past year: projects for Huskervision at University of Nebraska, WVUE New Orleans, IMS Productions and IndyCar, NC State University, M&T Bank Stadium, and WINK-TV Fort Myers, FL.

BeckTV engineers will be available at the booth to discuss facility builds and upgrades, covering cloud-based workflows, remote-production strategies, ST 2110 implementations, and capital and operational expenditure planning.

Belden (Booth C6616)

Belden is showcasing its broadcast- and AV-infrastructure solutions, including high-performance IP-centric networking for uncompressed video, audio, and data transport across live-production and studio environments.

The company is also demonstrating intelligent infrastructure-management capabilities covering network monitoring and data analytics for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid workflows.

A highlight at the booth is the DCX Cabinet, designed for data-center and equipment-room environments with a focus on space, power, and cooling efficiency for critical broadcast infrastructure.

Boland Communications (Booth C3519)

Boland Communications is displaying its full range of LCD, OLED, and QD OLED broadcast monitors, alongside demonstrations of display calibration techniques.

New at the show is the 4K55HDR7SNB, a 55-in. 12G 4K display with an ultra-narrow bezel designed for tiled video-wall configurations. The display supports HDR, reaches 700 nits of brightness, and is available for control rooms, studios, and production spaces requiring seamless multi-screen installations.
