Brings three decades of broadcast expertise and industry transformation

Manifold Technologies, developer of software-defined, FPGA-accelerated infrastructure for live production, today announced the appointment of Ryhaan Williams as Chief Commercial Officer for North America.

In her new role, Williams will lead manifold's commercial strategy and market development across North America. She will oversee customer and partner relationships, cultivate new business opportunities, align sales and marketing initiatives, and integrate customer and market requirements back into product strategy. Williams will also establish manifold's regional go-to-market presence and represent products from technology partner arkona technologies across North America.

Williams brings more than 30 years of expertise across live production operations, systems integration, project management, strategic sales, and executive leadership. Her career includes leadership roles with TAG Video Systems, ES Broadcast, Comprehensive Technical Group, Riedel Communications, Bexel, and Gepco, following operational roles with Sportvision, National Mobile Television's Venue Services Group, and VH1.

Ryhaan brings a rare blend of deep technical understanding, commercial leadership, and long-standing relationships across the North American live production ecosystem, said Erling Hedkvist, Sales & Business Development Manager at manifold technologies. Just as importantly, she knows how to build markets from the ground up. As we expand across North America, Ryhaan's entrepreneurial vision and ability to connect customers, partners, and technology make her uniquely qualified to lead this effort.

Throughout her career, Williams has consistently been tapped to scale commercial organisations, build new markets, and expand the regional presence of international broadcast technology leaders.

Previously, Williams joined UK-based ES Broadcast as its first U.S. Sales & Systems employee, eventually establishing and scaling its American operations as Senior Vice President of Sales & Systems, North America.

Her background spans beyond sales into operational leadership, major venue and infrastructure deployments, mobile production, and complex technology rollouts. This hands-on foundation informs her approach to integrating complex solutions into customers' technical, operational, and financial frameworks.

Understanding the needs of the client and finding creative and innovative ways to solve problems has been a focus throughout my career. It always comes back to one question: how do we solve the problem? Customers need more flexibility from their infrastructure, and manifold lets them dynamically deploy, scale, and share resources based on their workflow requirements. It's exciting to bring manifold to the broader North American market, sit down with customers and ask: What are you trying to do? What's getting in the way? And how can we make it better? said Williams.

Manifold's North American expansion coincides with an industry-wide transition from legacy hardware toward flexible, software-defined infrastructure. Manifold CLOUD combines software-defined media processing with FPGA acceleration on commercial off-the-shelf compute, enabling live production workflows to be dynamically deployed and scaled on demand.

The company's expanding technology ecosystem includes its integration within NEP Platform, where Manifold CLOUD operates as a deployable application. This partnership enables broadcasters and rights holders to seamlessly deploy FPGA-accelerated multiviewing, UDX conversion, and graphics services within NEP's software-orchestrated environment.

Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Williams will officially assume her role on 1st October 2026, working with global leadership to establish manifold's North American presence, build strategic partnerships and support media organisations adopting next-generation production infrastructure.
