
XL Video brings innovative audiovisual coverage in the event Cisco Live 2014 in Milan La celebraci n de Cisco Live 2014, evento en el que esta multinacional especializada en redes ha congregado recientemente a miles de profesionales del sector TIC en el centro de congresos MiCo de Mil n (Italia), ha contado con el proveedor XL Video para el dise o, suministro y soporte de las soluciones audiovisuales, de proyecci n y control durante los cuatro d as de duraci n.
XL Video se ha encargado del suministro, dise o y soporte de una amplia gama de soluciones audiovisuales, incluyendo una pantalla de proyecci n de 60 metros y displays de gran formato LED; c maras / PPU y equipo de control durante los cuatro d as en los que se ha celebrado el evento anual de la multinacional Cisco, denominado Live 2014, que ha tenido lugar en el centro de congresos MiCo de la ciudad italiana de Mil n y en el que ha contado con la colaboraci n de los productores de eventos George P. Johnson.
Para este proyecto, el equipo de XL Video, gestionado por Nick Askew y Steve Greetham, ha colaborado estrechamente con Ben Hawkins, Dave Johnstone y John Carss, de la productora George P. Johnson, para dise ar el sistema de proyecci n para las sesiones plenarias que se celebraban en el auditorio del MiCo, con capacidad para 3.100 personas, y coordinar el equipamiento y log stica de sistemas audiovisuales, pantallas, proyecci n y control de otras 37 reas disponibles para este evento.
Para el equipamiento del auditorio se utiliz una impresionante pantalla de proyecci n total de 60 metros, dividida en los extremos izquierdo y derecho e inclinadas suavemente hacia el p blico asistente, dejando en el frente tres podios de presentaci n para los ponentes de Cisco Live 2014.
Diez proyectores del modelo HDF-W26 de la firma belga Boat se encargaban de crear la imagen en esta gran pantalla, que se ejecutaban en cinco pares (copia de seguridad activa y caliente) desde el rea de control de la sala, y cuyo borde de mezclaba conjuntamente con el sistema de gesti n de pantalla Encore para crear una sola imagen en toda la superficie, que controlaba tambi n las c maras en vivo y la salida a pantalla de una gran variedad de formatos (PowerPoint, Keynote , PlaybackPro, etc).
Producci n en directo
La reproducci n de medios para la pantalla se realizaba con un XL Catalyst, manejado mediante una consola grandMA2 light, para programar de manera flexible todos los elementos de v deo a trav s de la mesa y sincronizarlos con la reproducci n de pistas de audio, que se alimentaba tambi n con el sistema Encore.
Las sesiones plenarias se pod an seguir en directo gracias a cinco c maras HD Sony HXC-100 suministradas por XL Video, que se distribu an en dos en la parte trasera del auditorio equipadas con lentes de x70; otro par en las plataformas rodantes situadas frente al escenario, y una c mara remota Bradley Cam-Ball 2. Estos sistemas se introduc an en un Panasonic HS450 PPU para cortar la mezcla, mientras que Cisco TV proporcion una submezcla independiente para la transmisi n por Internet a trav s de un Panasonic HS400 PPU.
La grabaci n de las sesiones se realiz en cuatro AJA Ki Pros, que junto con ocho monitores formaban parte de este sistema, con una matriz modular Lightware MX- FR33R con SDI y DVI-I /O y los sistemas de fibra Lightware.
Conexi n multidispositivo
Para integrar una segunda pantalla' en las sesiones plenarias, XL Video contact con Matt Mapleston para crear un sistema que se comunicara con los dispositivos de los asistentes, conectado a la red WiFi en la web de Cisco, y que permiti el env o de mensajes, im genes, animaciones, v deos, etc. a los miles de dispositivos conectados durante el evento.
Los delegados presentes en la sala plenaria o auditorio se conectaban a Cisco WiFi que dirig a a una direcci n IP espec fica a trav s de su navegador web, y durante la sesi n de apertura se mostraban en la pantalla principal im genes enviadas por los dispositivos, adapt ndose autom ticamente a la resoluci n y la orientaci n del dispositivo conectado (tablet, smartphone, ). Este sistema tambi n se utiliz para mostrar las diapositivas de las presentaciones sobre los mismos dispositivos personales.
Para las 37 salas de reuniones informales reservadas para la celebraci n de Cisco Live 2014, XL Video ha suministrado 36 proyectores (entre 6 y 20 K) de la firma Panasonic, que utilizaban el nuevo sistema Lightware HDBaseT DVI sobre CAT, as como DVI sobre CAT 37 alimentados por codificadores Cisco, que permit a a los asistentes el acceso a la presentaci n.
Las sala de descanso han dotado con una veintena de monitores, en formatos de 47 hasta 90 pulgadas, junto con 80 monitores de confort, todos sobre cincuenta Barco Image Pro II y diez escaladores Barco PDS-902.
XL Video tambi n se encarg del suministro de una pantalla LED de 11,5 3 metros del fabricante Absen que se ha utilizado para dar la bienvenida a los asistentes a este evento.
