S o Paulo, March 1, 2023 - Mark your calendar: Season 2 of Brazilian show Invisible City premieres on March 22. To further increase fans' anticipation, Netflix is releasing the official trailer for the new season, along with the show's poster.
The images within give a taste of the show that enchanted people in Brazil and around the world. They hint at new developments to come in the second season, which is set in Bel m and was mostly filmed on location. In the show, there will be a new challenge for Eric (Marco Pigossi), Luna (Manu Dieguez) and Cuca (Alessandra Negrini), new entities, and even more Brazilian cultural elements, digging deeper into elements of Brazilian identity.
As a central part of the plot, the trailer shows the connection between society and nature, the visible and the invisible, the fantastic and the mundane, and the search for balance. It features plenty of special effects, both in the composition of its scenes and the depiction of its characters.
The second season of Invisible City has five episodes. It's produced by Pr digo Filmes, with Carlos Saldanha as creator and executive producer and Luis Carone as general director, as well as directors Cassiano Prado, Graciela Guarani, and Luciana Baptista. The cast also includes Let cia Spiller, Simone Spoladore, Zahy Guajajara, Kay Sara and other stars.
SYNOPSIS In this second season, after a long absence, we see Eric (Marco Pigossi) in a nature reserve near Bel m do Par , which is protected by indigenous people and sought after by prospectors. He discovers that Luna and Cuca have been living in the region, hoping to bring him back to life. Luna disappears soon after her meeting with her father. Desperate to find her again, Eric discovers that he can draw powers from the entities and uses this to try to protect his daughter, who has been kidnapped by people involved in the illegal mining industry.
