Matrox released ST 2110 in IBC 2017 SDI solutions It will display its new line of cards IP video streaming, live streaming-compatible encoding Monarch HDX and Monarch HD devices and conferences Monarch LCS capture device.
Matrox He continues focusing on the changing needs of broadcasters in a world immersed in the IP. In IBC 2017, the company will display its line of cards IP streaming video, live streaming-compatible encoding Monarch HDX and Monarch HD devices and the Conference capture device Monarch LCS, optimized for integration with third party video management systems (VMS, for its acronym in English). In addition, Matrox shall have its experts in OEM products hand to demonstrate and discuss the full line of products development Matrox DSX.
Among the novelties, highlights new cards IP Matrox X.mio3 IP and DSX LE4 IP compatible with SMPTE 2110 suitable for each system design and budget. The Matrox DSX LE4 IP provides an HD video IP encapsulation, 3G and 4K for all transport protocols IP, together with the added redundancy ST 2022-7 security, as well as the transmission / reception of packets "non-bursty", all on a card with zero CPU usage.
The powerful X.mio3 IP expands on how scaling functions of IP providing deinterlacing, LE4 Assembly and composition of broadcast-quality, freeing up CPU cycles for other processing in the system.
On the other hand, the Matrox Monarch HDX and Monarch HD devices now live to two of the most popular world, Facebook and YouTube social media platforms. All that is needed is to match the device with these accounts once and will be maintained automatically for all subsequent flows.
HDX Monarch is a device of H.264 encoding of a single input, dual channel and easy to use. Two independent H.264 encoders allow the transmission to two different destinations or the device can be configured to transmit and / or recording with independent encoder settings. Designed for flexibility of workflow complete, Monarch HDX has inputs 3 G-SDI and HDMI with raster timing to compensate for unstable sources.
Monarch HD is a device of coding professional, able to take a HDMI input from a source such as a camera or mixer and generate a stream suitable for live streaming H.264-encoded. At the same time it is possible to burn a file to MP4 or MOV of highest quality on an SD card, USB drive or a network drive.
Regarding Matrox Monarch LCS it is a solution designed for training rooms and conferences with Video enhanced platform interoperability. Matrox has integrated a strong set of features focused on interoperability in a Conference Monarch LCS capture device. With the possibility of programming in the system and storage and forwarding functionality, the LCS has been optimized to operate seamlessly with the popular VMS from third parties such as Ensemble Video, Kaltura, Presentations2Go, StreamShark, and TechSmith Relay.
This stand-alone device capture powerful features include flexible inputs (SDI/HDMI or HDMI/HMDI), mixing simplified with integrated production designs (picture in picture or side by side) and synchronized dual coding that allows multiple stream playback, putting design control in the hands of the Viewer.

Matrox technology allows original equipment manufacturers to create advanced broadcast graphics systems, servers, video channel-in-a-box, coding equipment for contribution and distribution, and nonlinear editing systems that provide 24/7 reliability even in the most demanding environments.
Through the DSX LE4 and X.mio3 product lines, Matrox offers a full range of PCI Express I/O cards designed for optimal performance, flexibility and scalability. In addition to the broadcast IP cards, Matrox offers SDI boards of high density with up to 12 inputs and outputs reconfigurable, compatible SDI, 3 G-SDI and SDI from 12 G to SD through resolutions of 4 K/UHD.
