LH Computer Services Aims To Preserve Valuable Data with Reliable Storage

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome LH Computer Services as a mobile/integrator sponsor. Based in Coral Springs, FL, the reseller/integrator specializes in video-storage solutions for the media and entertainment industry, including sports production.

The company's solutions provide next-generation storage platforms providing content production, distribution, and archive with the performance and reliability needed to meet extreme production and delivery deadlines. Proven file systems from ingest to archive provide end-to-end solutions optimized for video, designed for performance, and built on the foundation of providing high-performance collaboration to leading post and broadcast.

We have been in business over 24 years providing enterprise-class storage solutions, and I'm excited at the opportunity to be part of SVG as a sponsor, says Senior Partner Doug Cole. I look forward to the live events and the opportunity to learn about the storage challenges that teams are facing. We have the ability to draw from the best-of-breed' storage manufacturers to deliver high-performance, cost-effective workflow solutions.

LH Computer Services' variety of offerings includes direct-attached storage, fiber-channel SANs, and traditional NAS to meet the demanding needs of any client's workflow. The unique nature of video applications and workflows makes it particularly important to select not only a product that meets technical requirements but also a partner who understands this unique environment, knows the applications, and has demonstrated success across a variety of demanding video workflows.

Whether capturing satellite imagery or ingesting hi-res 4K video, the company's solutions enable high-performance capture, collaboration, processing, and preservation of data.

While each workflow is different, some things remain the same: the data is invaluable, the data is growing, the data cannot be re-created, and the data must be preserved so it can be repurposed in ways that can't be imagined today, says Cole. Complex workflows require reliable, secure, and proven storage from experts you can trust.
