Today CalDigit, the company of choice for the content creation industry, announces that the CalDigit FASTA-6GU3 Pro is now available. The FASTA-6GU3 Pro is the next evolution of CalDigits popular USB 3.0 and eSATA interface card. This PCIe card has been revamped with the latest USB 3.0 Protocol and SATA 6G chipsets to deliver increased performance.
FASTA-6GU3 Pro - Maximize the potential of your desktop.
The FASTA-6GU3 Pro is the follow up to the popular FASTA-6GU3 PCIe card for Mac Pro and desktop PCs.
The beauty of the FASTA-6GU3 Pro is that its space saving dual interface design only takes up one PCIe slot on your desktop computer. This saves your PCIe slots for other PCIe cards , said Kosta Panagos, Director of Marketing at CalDigit.
The FASTA-6GU3 Pro's USB 3.0 ports are 5Gbps, and feature UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) that allows external USB 3.0 storage devices to achieve the best possible performance. The two eSATA ports are full 6G eSATA, and fully compatible with previous generations of eSATA.
On the back of the FASTA-6GU3 Pro there are two SATA ports that allow PC users to connect two extra HDDs to their workstation.
Price and Availability
The FASTA-6GU3 Pro is available to purchase now from the CalDigit Online Store, and CalDigit Resellers worldwide. Pricing for the FASTA-6GU3 Pro is $169 MSRP in the US, £115 RRP in the UK, and 139 RRP in Europe.
