99.9 The Fan & WRALsportsfan.com gain three content providers to cover college sports in the Triangle
99.9 The Fan & WRALsportsfan.com are pleased to announce the addition of Triangle College Sports content providers Ben Swain, Turner Walston and James Curle to their Triangle/ACC College Football & Basketball team coverage for the 2017-2018 season.
These three contributors will execute weekly columns for WRALsportsfan.com, weekly on-air interviews on 99.9 The Fan, and a weekly podcast (called the Tri-Partisan Podcast) together for WRALsportsfan.com and the WRALsportsfan App. Duke will be covered by Ben Swain, UNC by Turner Walston and NC State by James Curle. All three have been covering their respective colleges for many years, and have demonstrated first-class reporting, which includes outstanding daily social media presence.
Dennis Glasgow, Capitol Broadcasting Sports Radio Operations Manager/Program Director says, This is a huge win for 99.9 The Fan and WRALsportsfan.com. Having the ability to gain three talented individuals like Ben, Turner and James will continue to signify to our audience that Capitol Broadcasting is the leader in Triangle sports coverage.
Weekly columns, on-air check-ins and the podcast start the week of August 28th, the first week before the college football season starts in the Triangle. The coverage will conclude after the ACC Basketball Tournament in Brooklyn in early March 2018. All content can be consumed at WRALsportsfan.com and the WRALsportsfan App.
99.9 The Fan is part of a very extensive and impressive list of audio platforms for Capitol Broadcasting in the Raleigh-Durham market. This includes Buzz Sports Radio (WDNC-AM), 95.7 The Ticket (WCLY) along with live video streaming of local programs on WRALSportsFan.com, the WRALsportsfan App, Roku, Amazon Firestick and AppleTV on the WRAL-TV 5 #OTT App.
