Christopher Guest's Mascots' is First-Ever Showing on the Big Screen at iPic Fulton Market at Seaport District NYC Starting on October 13
NEW YORK, October 6, 2016 - iPic Entertainment, the nation's fastest-growing affordable luxury movie-watching experience, and Netflix are partnering to release select original Netflix films at iPic Theaters.

The partnership is set to launch on October 7th at 8 p.m. with the action-packed war thriller, The Siege of Jadotville starring Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, The Fall) and Guillaume Canet (Joyeux No l, Love Me If You Dare) opening at iPic Theaters Los Angeles and will stream day and date on Netflix, everywhere the service is available. The next film in the partnership follows quickly thereafter when the Netflix original film Mascots releases in iPic Theaters Thursday, October 13, with a special event at iPic Fulton Market at Seaport District NYC, the same day the film launches on the service. Mascots, directed by Christopher Guest of famed film Best in Show, reunites the filmmaker with his celebrated cast of comediennes, including: Jane Lynch (Glee), Fred Willard (Anchorman, A Mighty Wind), Parker Posey (Dazed & Confused, Waiting For Guffman), Jennifer Coolidge (Legally Blonde, 2 Broke Girls), Bob Balaban (The Grand Budapest Hotel, For Your Consideration), and Ed Begley, Jr. (Arrested Development, Family Tree) among others.

Guests seated in iPic's Premium Plus option have push-button access to a specially crafted dining in the dark menu by award-winning Chief Restaurant Officer Sherry Yard along with libations from Master Bartender/Advanced Sommelier Adam Seger. iPic's in-theater servers-dubbed Ninjas for their stealthy navigation into and out of the theater-provide movie-watchers with the ultimate discreet service as they enjoy culinary creations specifically designed to be eaten in the dark.
As a continuance to iPic's reinvention of industry standards, Premium Plus seating at iPic now features the world's first patented pod seats, cutting-edge constructions designed to create an intimate space for viewers without inhibiting or diluting sound.
