At this year's IBC Broadcast Solutions GmbH will showcase two 4K OB Vans at their outdoor stand O.D02. The German System Integrator and OB Van specialist will present two examples of the successful Streamline OB Van product family: a Streamline S8 4K OB Van, built for NEP Germany and an Alphaline 12 4K OB Van, built for South Korean Broadcaster SBS. With the two OB Vans visitors have the chance to touch and feel two examples of the pre-configured Streamline Product Family that come as 4K versions.

By providing these OB Vans as a product Broadcast Solutions underlines their approach to deliver high-class production tools in the shortest time possible and in 4K. For the German-based System Integrator developing and building 4K OB Vans is a daily business. Furthermore the two OB Vans exemplify the refinement of the Streamline OB Family concept. They are conceived with pre-configuration to ensure the fastest delivery but they are flexible enough to adapt to the customer's needs, without ceasing its principles of fast delivery, cost-effectiveness and durability.

The Streamline S8 4K is a compact and self-driving OB Van that excels in 4K with up to 8 UHD cameras. The Streamline S8 4K is the next level of the Streamline OB Vans - pre-configured and available as 4K versions. The OB Van uses the 2 Sample Interleave UHD standard and offers workplaces for up to 9 people. Although only 7.9 meters long the OB Van offers additional space in the rear for storage and works as an independent OB Van not requiring a support vehicle.

With the Alphaline OBs the company introduces a new member to the Streamline Family. Especially the Alphaline OB at IBC comes with an exceptional coachbuilding, reduced in length and makes use of a refined overall workspace design. The OB offers full and dedicated sections to work on productions with up to 12 cameras in 4K/UHD. The cameras work on the basis of 12G-SDI UHD Single Link in combination with Quad Link 3G-SDI. Furthermore the production tool makes use of hybrid IP-systems and connectivity.

The Alphaline OB

Although a more specialized and individualized OB Van the Alphaline, like the other Streamline OBs, can be delivered in a very short time but without any compromises on technology or durability. Since years South Korea is on the forefront of adopting UHD TV. The countrywide establishment of UHD as the new standard was decided by government and a regular TV programme is already available.
